Answers to some frequently asked questions.
Plan on arriving 15 minutes early to get your skate, CSA Approved helmet, gloves and any additional clothing to keep warm. You will need to find your name tag located on the tables by the dressing rooms. This name tag needs to be attached and visible to the skaters coat and is used by coaches to track and record skaters progress.
Expect it to be busy, coaches will move skaters into different groups throughout the season based upon skills, abilities and group numbers.

Parents or guardians are required on ice for the new Parent & Tot class. For all other classes, only children and staff are permitted on ice.
Fundraising-Volunteer cheques or cash are required per family with skaters in Parent & Tot, PreCanSkate, CanSkate, PreSTARSkate, and STARSkate programs. Please make out a cheque in the amount of $150 and leave the date blank or provide cash. These cheques or cash will be returned or held over for the next season if a volunteer commitment is made. If you are unable to volunteer or fundraise, the $150 will be kept in lieu of a commitment. We thank you kindly for your donation to the club. Parent Volunteers are the foundation of any successful community organization! We have many available jobs. Volunteer sign up will be available the first week of programs as well as information on our fundraising. Volunteer and Fundraising checks/cash must be submitted the first day of programs. Skaters will not be allowed on ice until this requirement is met.
A Fundraising-Volunteer commitment is not required for skaters in AdultSkate or Power Skating programs.
Athletes under 26 and parents/guardians of athletes under 18 years of age must confirm that they have reviewed the Government of Ontario Concussion Awareness Resources below and Skate Ontario’s Concussion Code of Conduct for Athletes and Parents/Guardians prior to registration and/or on the first day of skating.

Rowan's Law Form
The $62.00 Skate Canada Safe Sport Insurance Fee is mandatory for all skaters in all programs as well as any parents or guardians assisting a skater in Parent & Tot classes. The Skate Canada Safe Sport Insurance Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to other people.
Cancellations will be announced by 1 pm on the day of skating. Please follow us on social media to stay informed as emails will not always be possible.
