Coach: Jason Do Paco – SHA HOCKEY ACADEMY
Jason grew up in Toronto playing minor hockey at the AAA level, followed by four years of Jr. A in the OJHL, and concluding with stints in the ECHL, CHL, and SPHL. His experience includes managing two new Jr. franchises, serving as an assistant coach for the AAA Mississauga Rebels, and acting as head coach for the AA Streetsville Tigers. Jason has a strong passion for player development along with running SHA Hockey Academy he is currently one of the head coachs for the West Coast Whitecaps. He has worked with a variety of hockey players, including current NHLers Phil Tomasino, Jordan Kyrou, Jordan Frasca, Sean Durzi, and Jakob Chychrun.
Keep your player’s skills sharp during the second half of the season with our Winter Power Skating session for U8 and U9 divisions. Conveniently located for families throughout the Ripley, Kincardine, Lucknow, Wingham and surrounding areas, this independent development class welcomes both boys and girls from local hockey and ringette leagues. This is a custom club program not affiliated with the official Skate Canada CanPowerSkate program.
Our winter curriculum emphasizes agility, quick directional changes, and high-tempo stride efficiency to help players build explosive power on the ice.
REQUIREMENTS & FEES:
– SKATERS MUST ALREADY BE ABLE TO SKATE FORWARDS, BACKWARDS, AND STOP TO JOIN.
– Full hockey/ringette gear and sticks are required.
– No volunteer or fundraising commitment is required for this class.
