NEW: Bring your stick. Previously you were asked not to bring your stick unless the coach asked. For this session you are to bring your stick in every week.

First Class: Fri Jan 9
No Classes: Friday February 13th (Closed for Ripley Carnival)
Last Class: Fri Mar 6
Skate Canada Insurance fee is waived for skaters who already participated in a Fall 2025 class as they have already purchased their insurance for the season. All new skaters to the 2025–2026 season will be required to pay the $62.50.
SKATERS MUST ALREADY BE ABLE TO SKATE FORWARDS, BACKWARDS AND STOP TO JOIN.
Skaters are to wear full equipment, including sticks.
A high-energy skating program geared to hockey and ringette players. This program focuses on balance, control and agility skills including components of power and speed. All skaters are to wear full hockey gear without their stick. No volunteer/fundraising requirement for these classes.
- A complete series of balance, control and agility skills that will prepare skaters for any ice skating sport or recreational skating.
- Nationally-tested and proven curriculum and delivery methods that guarantee skater success.
- Designed for 90% movement so skaters learn in an active and fun group setting.
- Nationally certified coaches trained specifically in teaching the mechanics and proper technique of skating.
- Coaches are assisted by trained program assistants.
- Ensures a 1:10 coach/program assistant to skater ratio or lower.
- Provides kids with the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, speed skating and ringette.
- Introduces a healthy, lifelong activity at an early age.
